Maximum space savings through intelligent design
The Blue Sea BS 5045 compact fuse block from the proven ST series was specifically developed for applications where every millimeter counts. Whether on small recreational boats, ATVs, motorcycles, or in tightly packed electronics boxes in recreational vehicles – this fuse block finds space everywhere. The special highlight is the "Single Side Design": Both the main power cable (supply) and the four consumer cables are routed to the block from the same side. Compared to conventional fuse blocks, this saves valuable installation space.
Blue Sea BS 5045 - all advantages:
The included transparent polycarbonate cover is easy to attach and not only meets the strict insulation requirements of ABYC and USCG, but also seals the system so that the fuse block is considered Ignition Protected. It meets ISO 8846 and SAE J1171 standards and can therefore be installed in the engine compartment of gasoline-powered boats without hesitation. In addition, the cover offers an IP66 certification against the ingress of dust and strong water jets.
To withstand the harsh maritime conditions at sea, all current-carrying busbars and fuse terminals are made of highly tinned copper. This provides optimal protection against corrosion. The robust M4 terminal screws for the consumer cables are factory-fitted with captive star washers – this ensures a vibration-resistant hold, even with the strongest engine and wave vibrations.
