Blue Sea Systems 5026 ST Blade Fuse Block - 12 Circuits with Negative Bus

Blue Sea Systems 5026 ST Blade Fuse Block - 12 Circuits with Negative Bus

The Blue Sea Systems BS 5026 ST fuse block offers space for twelve ATO/ATC blade fuses(max. 30A per circuit) and handles a total load of 100A. It comes with an integrated negative busbar, allowing the positive and negative lines of the consumers to be bundled in one central location. Equipped with tinned copper busbarsand an ABYC/USCG-compliant insulating cover, this fuse block guarantees maximum safety and corrosion resistance for boats and motorhomes.

The Blue Sea BS 5026 fuse block from the ST series is the perfect choice for boat builders, yacht owners, and those outfitting expedition vehicles who want to safely organize an extensive electrical system. It distributes power from a central positive supply (M5 stud) to up to twelve individually fused load circuits. Thanks to the tinned copper busbars and robust screw terminals with integrated star washers, excellent conductivity is ensured even in the presence of strong vibrations or humid environments.

The deciding difference: Blue Sea 5026 vs. 5029

Both 12-circuit fuse blocks (5026 and 5029) accept standard ATO/ATC fuses and feature a protective polycarbonate cover. The fundamental difference lies in the ground routing:

  • Model BS 5026 (this product): Features an integrated negative busbar. The ground cables of all connected loads can be terminated directly at the fuse block. From there, a single, heavy-gauge negative cable leads back to the battery.
  • Model BS 5029: This is the version without a negative busbar. This model is the right choice if the ground cables for the loads are already being consolidated at another central location on the vessel (e.g., on a separate, large ground busbar).

BS 5026 - Thought out down to the detail for maximum safety

The included transparent polycarbonate cover reliably protects against accidental short circuits and meets the strict insulation requirements of the ABYC and USCG. It can be opened completely without tools via the practical push-button latch. Holders for two spare fuses are integrated on the inside of the cover, while the outside features clever recessed areas for labeling stickers to clearly identify each of the 12 circuits (labels sold separately).

The key benefits at a glance:

  • Maximum overview: 12 fused circuits in one location.
  • All-in-One solution: Integrated negative busbar significantly simplifies wiring.
  • High capacity: 100A total load (max. 30A per individual circuit).
  • Marine-grade: Current-carrying components made of tinned copper offer maximum corrosion protection.
  • Secure insulation: Meets ABYC/USCG requirements.
  • Vibration-resistant: Screw terminals (#8-32) with captive star washers for a permanently secure hold.
