Blue Sea Systems BS 5025 6-Circuit Blade Fuse Block with Negative Bus

The Blue Sea Systems BS 5025 ST fuse block is the premium solution for centralized power distribution in 12V and 24V electrical systems. It accommodates six standard blade fuses (ATO/ATC) and handles a total load of up to 100A (max. 30A per circuit). The model includes an integrated negative bus bar. It allows not only the positive, but also the negative return lines of the consumers to be brought together directly, neatly, and in a space-saving manner at one location.

Tidy and professional onboard electrical system with the BS 5025

The Blue Sea BS 5025 Fuse Block from the proven ST series is the first choice for boat builders, yacht owners, and camper van converters who value a safe and organized electrical installation. It distributes power from a central positive supply line (M5 stud) to up to six individually fused consumer circuits. Thanks to the tinned copper busbars and robust screw terminals with integrated star washers, excellent conductivity is guaranteed at all times, even under heavy vibration or high humidity.

The crucial difference: Blue Sea BS 5025 and BS 5028

Both fuse blocks (BS 5025 and BS 5028) provide space for six ATO/ATC fuses and include a protective cover. The main difference lies in the ground routing:

  • Model BS 5025: Features an integrated negative busbar. Here, you can connect the ground wires of the connected consumers directly to the fuse block and route them back to the battery from there with a single, heavy-duty negative cable.
  • Model BS 5028: Is the version without a negative busbar. This model is used when the consumer ground wires are already joined at another central location (e.g., a separate large busbar).

Blue Sea BS 5025 - Thought out down to the last detail

The included polycarbonate cover not only protects against accidental short circuits (compliant with ABYC/USCG standards), but can also be opened without tools thanks to the push-button latch. The inside of the cover provides space for two spare fuses, while the outside offers practical indentations for labeling tags (labels sold separately) to clearly identify all circuits.

The key advantages of the BS 5025 at a glance:

  • All-in-one solution: Integrated negative busbar drastically reduces cable clutter.
  • High load capacity: For up to 6 consumers (max. 30A per output / 100A total load).
  • Marine-ready: Current-carrying components made of tinned copper to prevent corrosion.
  • Safe insulation: Meets ABYC/USCG requirements for maximum safety.
  • Easy handling: Tool-free cover with storage for spare fuses.
  • Vibration-resistant: Screw terminals with captive star washers for secure holding of ring terminals.
