BS 7720 - Reliable high-current protection for demanding onboard electrical systems

The Blue Sea BS7720 fuse block was specially developed to safely protect high-current loads and main onboard wiring from short circuits and overloads. It accepts standard AMI or MIDI fuses and is designed for currents of up to 200 amperes at a maximum voltage of 32V DC. Whether for inverters, high-output alternators, bow thrusters, or battery cables – this fuse block offers uncompromising protection in the smallest of spaces.

The harsh conditions at sea require resilient components. The BS7720 features a transparent, sealed protective cover that not only keeps out dust and moisture (IP66 rating) but also meets the strict insulation requirements of the ABYC and USCG. Practical "breakouts" on the cover allow you complete flexibility in routing thick cables from any direction.

Another crucial safety feature: The fuse block is ignition protected according to ISO 8846 and SAE J1171. This means it can be installed in engine rooms or near fuel tanks on gasoline-powered boats without concern.
